The Chinese have pretty much taken over the world in terms of exports. It makes it very difficult to buy your kids presents for Christmas and tell them that it's from Santa, when the words on the label clearly state 'MADE IN CHINA'.
I propose a new line of products that come out just at Christmas to keep the festive myth alive. 'Made by Santa' will replace the old copy.
